Alicia Keys appeared on the 2010 BET Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on June 27, 2010 in Los Angeles, California.

Rihanna and Alicia Keys are up for Choice R&B Artist for this year’s Teen Choice Awards. They face fierce competition from other artists in their category including Beyonce, Trey Songz and Usher. This year’s event will be hosted by Katy Perry on August 9, and fans can vote at teenchoiceawards.com.

For the 10th anniversary of the “BET Awards,” the network continues to add more exciting performances to its already impressive roster. Along with performances from Kanye West, Diddy, and Nicki Minaj, Eminem, Alicia Keys, Usher, and T-Pain have also been added to the line-up. The 2010 BET Awards, airing Sunday, June 27th on BET, will also feature performances Drake, Ludacris, T.I., Rick Ross, and Trey. Grammy Award-winner and Oscar nominee Queen Latifah will host.

In between the announcement of 2010 BRIT Awards’ winners, musical guests were called out one by one to entertain the audience. Among those rocking London’s Earls Court Exhibition Centre on February 16 were Jay-Z, Alicia Keys and Lady GaGa. Jay-Z and Alicia Keys teamed up for “Empire State of Mind” duet. Before taking the mic for singing, the rap mogul raced to the stage to accept International Male Solo Artist prize, citing Spice Girls as his inspiration. You can watch performance HERE

Alicia Keys and Jay-Z will perform their hit single, “Empire State of Mind,” at the upcoming BRIT Awards in London on February 16. The duet by the two stars has been a smash on both sides of the Atlantic, and BRIT Awards organizers are looking forward to the performance.

“Alicia is a fantastic addition to the show. I can’t wait to see her and Jay-Z perform one of the biggest songs of the year.”
